The purpose of the international standard ISO/IEC 17025 is to demonstrate the competence of laboratories. The main elements of ISO/IEC 17025 include requirements for the consistent operation of management, as well as requirements for the impartiality and competence of the laboratory. Laboratory activities according to ISO/IEC 17025 are considered transparent.

To date, ISO/IEC 17025 enables laboratories to demonstrate that they are operating competently within an agreed framework, obtaining valid results, thus contributing to increased confidence in their activities both nationally and globally. ISO/IEC 17025 facilitates cooperation between laboratories and other bodies by ensuring the broad recognition of test results between countries. Test protocols and certificates are recognized from country to country without the need for additional testing, which in turn accelerates and improves confidence in international trade - noted in the recommendations of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization.

The ISO/IEC 17025 standard is owned by the ultra-modern laboratory of the dry mix enterprise "Formula", where it is possible to test the material in relation to grip, pressure, elasticity and thermal variables.
